I think we should just pay Zito his money and tell him to leave.

Its amazing what can happen when you let the kids (yes I use the term kids loosely with the Giants) play. Who knew huh? :banghead:

Lewis should have been starting from day 1. So should have Velez. The loss of a starting job has obviously frustrated him as his numbers have fallen off as it appears the Giants have no faith in him as they continue to send Durham out there. Bo has look fairly good at SS and should get a chance at being our everyday SS next season. Bowker I called long ago (just want that on record :) ) and I think he could be a good 3,4 or 5 hitter for us for some years to come.

It's going to be interesting to see what the Giants do as they are starting to have kids produce that all play the same position. For example, in 2009 you should have Lewis, Bowker, Rowand and Scher all capable startering in the OF, all of which are too good to be bench players. Same with SS and 2B with Bo, Burris (tearing up AAA early on) Frandsen and Velez. Would you offer a Corerra, Lewis, Velez (or similar package) for a stud 3B or 1B?

This season should actually get very interesting as we go along.

Can Bowker play first? Aurilia needs to go.

They have Bowker working with Snow to learn 1B. It appears the Giants think so but history shows that doesn't mean much.....

Yeah, I heard that today. The faster they get him in the lineup everyday, the better.
