The San Francisco Chronicle - Giants' starter Tim Lincecum says that he's fine and that he'll make his next start against the Braves this Sunday, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.

"I'm a young kid. I heal relatively quickly," Lincecum said. "It's like fighting through any bruise."

Lincecum was drilled on the right leg by a line-drive off the bat of Brad Ausmus but seemed to be walking normally on Wednesday.

"It's like hitting the funny bone," Lincecum said. "All your nerves go stupid. When I tried to step on it, it was a step on a non-existent leg."

Watching Lincecum pitching vs the Pads at the moment....tossing a shutout in the 7th. The kid is magical. Usually I just can assume nobody can touch him until the 8th. Beyond that it's a case of the Giant's singles hitters having scored a few so the bullpen does not waste the effort.
Randy Johnson, Greg Maddux,Sandy Koufax, were not this good their second year. Pity there's not a better team around him.

Hopefully, it happens before he signs with the Mets.
