John Bowker is likely to be recalled from Triple-A Fresno on Thursday.
Bowker has torn up the PCL this season, batting .345 with 17 homers, 63 RBI and a 1.055 OPS. Not needing a fifth starter again until July 20, the Giants could use the extra bat. Wednesday's starter Ryan Sadowski is the most likely candidate to be sent down.

I'm looking forward to seeing this guy back up. He had a great season so far, and I'm can't wait to see him play again.

Finally. He won't make the impact of a Jermaine Dye, but at least we don't have to give up a good prospect.

He's gonna hit 2 HR's before the all-star break.

He did pretty good last season after being called up. Hopefully, he'll have an even better impact this year. After the brief national spotlight on Sandoval, I'm sure he'll be receiving a couple of IBB's from now on.
Didn't Bowker hit for the cycle within his first week of being called up last season?

Sure didn't. Bowker and Shierholtz swung at everything thrown. I'll save the further discussion for the series thread.

What is the timetable for calling up Posey?

Well, he just got called up to Triple-A this week, skipping Double-A completely. I'd be lying if I said I knew when he was coming up, but I hope we can see him this year.
Since this is the Bowker thread... As a note, he hit his first homer in the Zito fail-job.
