An amazing performance!
If it wasn't for Juan Uribe, it would have been a perfect game. Wow!

Re: Jonathon. Sanchez. No-hitter!
A couple of questions come to mind..........
The Giants had him on the trading block before this......
A - Is Sanchez is on the trading block, or does he instantly get pulled off that?
B - if he's still on the block, how much did it stock go up?

Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed.

Damn! That was close to a perfect game....but I'll take the no hitter! Man, it feels good to have the BEST rotation in BASEBALL! Our ex-#5 starter just threw a no hitter...and I have no doubts that Tim or Matt could do it ANY night of the week.
It feels good to be a Giants fan

I would say that Dirty Sanchez is off the block. Reason being:
A - Pandoval is producing offense much better than I expected. AT&T Park is a difficult park to produce runs in; and he does it with such ease. Ishi and Nate are swining the bat pretty well. Even with the slump in FLA, Rownads is still batting .293. Bengie is much better without the pressure of clean-up on his shoulders and his backup Eli Whiteside knocked in a run last night as well. So the need of a big bat isn't that much of a concern as it was in April and May.
B - Assuming the Giants take the Wild Card berth or win the West, their advantage over any NL contenders would be their pitching. Giants needs to play their advantages in order to win. Without a calm and patient Dirty (Sanchez), they're barely as good as any other NL club in the post season.
C - Remember, we've got kids by the name of Angel Villalona, Conor Gillaspie and Buster Posey developing well in the Farm league. All of whom have great swings with the bat. The need for a bat should be re-assessed after the season is over. As of right now, the G-Men are doing alright.
Again, these are my points as of right now. Next month, we may not be able to hit the ground if we threw the bat. The Giants are rollin with their sites on those freakin Dough-yers.

Hopefully, Righetti woke up a sleeping giant. He has so much potential and just now seems to be realizing it.
