Looks like the M's can breathe a little easier. I thought it was going to turn out half the team was juicing. No current M's are mentioned in the Mitchell report, and only the following ex-Mariners:
David Segui (which we knew about)
Josias Manzanillo (only briefly a Mariner)
Glenallen Hill (only briefly a Mariner)
Ron Villone
Ryan Franklin (which we knew about)
Todd Williams (who?)
Fernando Vina (only a Mariner at the start of his career, plus a brief attempted comeback at the end)
David Bell
Jose Guillen (which we knew about)
Ismael Valdez (only briefly a Mariner, but see below)
On the list, it appears that only two used illegal substances while members of the Mariners: Villone and Valdez. (EDIT: Sorry, I mean three, obviously Ryan Franklin.) Valdez had apparently been using while with Texas, and continued ordering more supplies after he was traded to the M's.
Villone, I guess, surprises me. Apparently he was using on his second tour of duty with the M's, before they traded him to Florida for Yorman Bazardo. I guess it makes me feel better about the M's squandering Bazardo in a bad trade last year.
Bell, the report says, started using after he left the M's, when he was in Philly. He and Franklin, and maybe Segui, are the only players in the report who can be deemed real contributors to the "Mariners family," and even those are pretty low-level contributions.
The biggest upset of the whole report: no Bret Boone.

No Bret Boone, no Scott Spiezio...hell, I don't even think I saw Troy Glaus' name. Quite the incomplete list. I agree though that the Mariners are relatively untouched, with the only "damaging" one being the worst pitcher in the history of baseball, Ryan "guaranteed L" Franklin.
Outside of these guys, the one name that struck me was Mo Vaughn. I always thought he was just a huge guy.

Eh. I guess. The Yankees had the most current and former players (22), but next on the list was the Orioles, who have really fallen off this decade.

A few players have already admitted their guilt, and just recently Andy Pettitte came out and admitted he took HGH. Wow.
The cash cow, of course, is Clemens, but nothing in the world will get him to spill. He's going to approach Bondsian levels of obstinance.

i was watching his statement and that he will be in 60 mins, don't know if that will really make a difference.
all this accusations could be subjective to a certain degree. there's really no way to prove 100% that someone took it or not.
what could matter more is how all these players are now looked by the fans.

Now some ex-teammates are refuting Monahan's allegation:

Loved Ibanez's little zinger: "it clearly didn't work."
