Jakubauskas got goddamned destroyed out there. And we're in the middle of a perfect game being thrown by a pitcher that should have lost his rotation spot to David Price.

Bartlett's error saved the M's by perfect-game'd. And Lopez's 3-run homer put the M's back in it. Rallying in the 5th.

He didn't really have any control last night, and the infield defense wasn't stellar.

Mariners win 1-0! Hell of a day for Felix and Shields. Ichiro's lead-off HR in the 1st holds up.

Morrow still freaks me out.

Oh yeah another win! These M's are a lot better then I thought they would be - fantastic pitching and defense so far.

Once the offense picks up this team is going to be really good.

We have the best 1-2 in baseball. Felix/Bedard is just flat out sick.

Great win today. Any series win is awesome, but especially one over the defending league champs.

Bedard and Wash pitch against the Halos next series. Both have sub-2 ERAs after 3 starts... let's hope they keep the mojo going. Oh, uh, and Silva pitches, too.

Great win. Interesting little stat I heard yesterday for stat-hounds. Yesterday's 1-0 win represented only the 22nd time in major league history that a lead-off HR won a 1-0 ballgame.
