Franchise worst July, downright respectable August

Post#1 » by TTown » Thu Aug 19, 2010 5:40 pm

After going 6-23 in July, a franchise low, the M's have started August decently enough. 9-7, and they've won 4 straight series. Say what you will about the competition, we got swept at home by the Royals not too long ago. The fact that this team can beat anyone is a fresh change of pace.

@ NYY, @ Bos, Minn, LAA coming up, though. We should be coming back to Earth soon. Felix starts in the Bronx tonight.

Apparently the Yankee series starts tomorrow.

As an aside, Seattle only has to go 15-26 the rest of the way to avoid 100 losses. After July, I thought another 100 loss season was a slam dunk.
