A no hitter at Fenway would have been amazing.....

But.....I can settle for a shutout.

Felix is so legit. If Beltre is good this year and one other starter besides Fleix and Wash steps up we could at least be competitive this year.

Ah, it's nice to have at least one bonified pitcher on this team...and of course, he is the youngest one. Ugh, I was hoping he'd get the no-no, but a shut out and win are pretty damn sweet.

Oh, and uh....

Hail to the King, Baby...

I remember last there was concern about how Johjima handled Felix as a catcher. Today, it didn't seem to be an issue...and maybe it never was...

I watched a couple innings; enough to see the Mariners score all their runs.

Absolutely amazing pitchers' duel. Felix was on another planet; Matsuzaka pitched very well, but the Mariners were finally able to get some timely hits in a row and the base-running was well-executed.

What a win.

Felix was hitting 94 on the stadium gun in the ninth inning last night. It was ridiculous. At one point he threw a fastball at 93, then a change at 83, both in the same exact spot. Fooled the hell out of Youk.

Really, is there any doubt that he

I think that was one of the more exciting games i've watched in a few years. I was happy that it was on NAT TV since i don't live in Seattle anymore. Felix was just plain filthy. I was much more excited to watch him pitch than about the whole Matsuzaka-Ichiro hype.
Well hopefully some of our other pitchers can step up and we can have a solid season.

If this is what Hargrove has to do to make the Mariners a better team...it's working SO well.

Meanwhile, because I was innately curious, Jose Lopez is batting .188 and Jose Vidro is batting .150. Huzzah.

Another postponed game. I've never seen this many games postponed by the weather this early into the season.
