Mateo provides relief in the same way a doctor cures you of cancer by looking at the weird mole on your wrist and then lopping off your arm.

Did anyone catch Hargrove on the post-game show? He said Washburn was at 90 some pitches, but his 'real' pitch count was well over 100 since he'd had to pitch harder to get out of some jams. WTF? That makes no sense.

And he praised Washburn for doing so well by pitching out of jams at other points in the game. Alright...so then why yank him in the most crucial jam of the game?

Bonehead move by Hargrove and it cost us a game.

I think Hargrove is slowly (but not quietly) losing his mind. Don't know when this really started, but the beginning of the end should be him losing the goatee.

As important as Felix is, we really don't want to burn out Washburn...I'm more and more convinced that Washburn can be a legit No. 2 option for this team.
