Cliff Lee (2-2, 3.44) vs. Scott Kazmir (3-4, 6.09)
3 in a row is what we consider a "winning streak." Let's make one of those happen.

We win game one, 8-3. Cliff Lee gave up 2 ER in 8 IP, Guti and Bradley combined for 5 RBIs. Middle of the order came through.
Felix vs. Weaver today. Hopefully Felix is back in form, I don't see us scoring much. We've won 3 in a row, though, so perhaps miracles can indeed happen.
We've picked up 2 games on the West in the last 4 days. We're only 6.5 back.

Bot 6, 1-0 M's. Felix has gotten into some trouble but has managed to keep the Halos off the board so far.
How useless is Matt Tuiasosopo? He actually managed to get on base, which is surprising enough, but tries to go 1st to 3rd on a play and slides past the bag after beating the throw. Hitting, defense, base running... I've yet to see proof that this kid is a Major League ballplayer.
Hopefully I've managed to jinx the kid just enough where he'll hit a go-ahead HR later in the game or something.

We lose 5-1. Halos hit a GS in the 10th. Rock on, Brandon League.
Felix was superb, but the offense screwed over another starting pitcher. Stop me if you've heard this one before.
We are a Major League Baseball team who started Matt Tuiasosopo and Rob Johnson in the same game. Wrap your head around that one.
Fun fact o' the day: 3 of our top 5 hitters in the order are hitting under .230.
Morales blew out his knee or ankle or something during the celebration at home plate. At least we're not the only team that suffers from amateur hour antics.

M's have a 7-2 lead in the 5th, end up losing 9-7 when Aardsma gives up a 3 run HR. Bullpen gives up 7 runs in 5 innings... sigh.

What a pathetic series. Easily could have been a sweep.
I knew the DA from last year was too good to be true.
