After going 6-23 in July, a franchise low, the M's have started August decently enough. 9-7, and they've won 4 straight series. Say what you will about the competition, we got swept at home by the Royals not too long ago. The fact that this team can beat anyone is a fresh change of pace.

Apparently the Yankee series starts tomorrow.
As an aside, Seattle only has to go 15-26 the rest of the way to avoid 100 losses. After July, I thought another 100 loss season was a slam dunk.
