Jason Vargas (3-2, 3.39) vs. Carl Pavano (2-4, 5.30)
Doug Fister (2-4, 2.93) vs. Nick Blackburn (3-4, 3.40)
Erik Bedard (2-4, 3.94) vs. TBA
Liriano went yesterday, so we'll miss him. I believe Wednesday will be Duensing's turn in the rotation, but Minnesota hasn't released the info yet. He got shelled against the D-Backs last Friday.

Our offense isn't exactly stellar, but Minnesota's is the worst in the league. There's a decent shot we'll be in first place in the AL West by the end of this series.

I think its pretty awesome that we have the pitching advantage against (basically) every team in baseball. Sweet.
I really want a sweep here. Series loss would be devestating. Can't go through a bad spell again. Lets do this!!

Agreed. If we get this close to .500 again and then lose 6 of our next 7 I'm going to lose it.
Here's hoping Guti starts getting back on track. He went 0/8 his first two games, finally got a hit Saturday, and was 1/1 with a pinch-hit RBI yesterday.

A Jack Cust HR! Wow. We knew this day would come, but now that it has I don't know what to say.

Hey, don't look now, but everyone else sucks in the AL West too.

See; Now THAT right there was a nice win, fellas. First time during our little run that the starting pitching was poor and we had to come back from a defecit.
Big win. HUGE win. Showed a lot of character and I now have a lot of faith that our guys can keep up the good play for an extended period of time. Pitching wasnt on point and the offense came through.
Peguero absolutely murders the ball and League was lights out. Love it.

Michael Saunders makes me angry.

Saunders is a joke. He was obviously looking for a breaking ball, but he takes a fastball right down the middle of the plate 3 straight times? LOL.
Also; Is outifield Peguero's natural position? I ask this tongue in cheek because his defense is atrocious. It is horrendously bad. He makes Milton Bradley look like Willie Mays out there. We have to move that guy to DH unless he learns how to catch routine fly balls.

Brendan Ryan has also been really aggressive at the plate and its paying off big time. He's one of my favorite players on the team, so I'm thrilled.
Definitely a big series coming up, and fortunately, we have our two studs going.
