Well the mariners are starting to click a bit sitting at 12-14 with felix on the mound today and Kuma possibly tomorrow i like the chances of crawling back to 500.

if there is a time to start playing like we might contend it would be now with our starting pitching getting healthy

God Damn! If we win this game we're only 1 game back from .500. I thought by the end of that losing streak we might never see .500 or above again this year.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the M's again. Go figure.

Boy has Almonte been getting a long leash and a lot of patience from McClendon. That ball HAS to be caught there. As far as I'm concerned, that was an error. It's cost us at least two runs already.

1 run as the runner from 2nd would have advanced and then scored on the single but yeah that inning if he caught that would have ended in only 1 run scored

Time for our multi-million guy to come through here.

There are few things I enjoy less than this team playing an extra innings game on the road. They just never end well for us. Nice of Furbush to lose the game without getting an out.

Why the hell is Medina now the setup guy? How **** hard is it to just stick Farquhar out there? Medina's a decent pitcher but that's just not a great choice.

Almonte is really not offering a whole lot right now. He's just hacking at the plate. When he also struggling defensively, he's a little tough to stomach.

Really Almonte, Miller, and Romero should all be in Tacoma right now, but what better options do we have?

Can we all agree with something that became obvious to me (and some others around here) very early on this season: We NEED to trade for a veteran outfielder, a decent hitter who can also defend, probably a RFer (meaning Saunders to center, not the perfect answer but better than now)? This need is so glaring I'm blinded by it. Hell, I'm almost at the point where I'd take an aged Ichiro back. We don't need a star, even a very good player (would be nice though), we just need a player who's somewhat consistent at the plate and in the field. That' all.

GO GET SOMEONE! Don't effing wait till mid to late summer to fill this obvious need. Make something happen ownership/general management.

:waaa:

If the Lagares for Franklin rumors were ever grounded in reality, I wish we'd pulled the trigger.

Lol @ Medina being our setup guy. So it goes from Wilhelmsen to him? Cool. Yeah Farquar only has a sub 1.5 ERA. Hes a bum.

i like how franklin had a bad week up here and the organization is all like, 'nope, not ready, back to tacoma with you.' but for some reason almonte is the bee's knees and his reign of terror has extended into a second month.

glad kuma is back today. even if he's rusty for a few outings, that's a shot to the arm.

almonte's long leash and mcclendon's disdain for farhquar are my two biggest head scratchers of april.

looking for positives: cano will eventually find his power. seager is already starting to bust out of his funk. miller can't REALLY be this inept for another month, right? paxton will likely be back in a month. elias and young are still holding up.

At least Lloyd's figured it out with Almonte, presumably. Based on the reduced playing time and his comments recently he's realized it isn't working.

Kuma looks the same as ever, which is awesome.

I love Kuma.

And Lloyd Mcclendon is an idiot. So he is upset about the amount of time the catcher was allowed to stall....SO HE GOES OUT TO ARGUE TO GIVE THE BULLPEN EVEN MORE TIME?

lol worthy.
