well, we're treading water (10-13), but things are actually looking up IMO.
we went three full rotations through felix/paxton/kuma/walker/happ before someone other than felix or happ gave us a quality start. kuma was so bad he came down with a mysterious injury and was placed on the DL. walker was unhittable in the spring, but had a nightmare couple of starts to begin April. LUCKILY, he's bounced back with back-to-back gems. paxton was equally atrocious, but threw a dandy his last outing in houston. so hopefully the young guys are rounding into form.
elias is back with the club and has done well.
felix and happ have been studs. no surprise w/ felix, but happ is only furthering the opinion that we can sign any out-of-work vet off the street and turn him into a productive mlb starter.
cruz is lights out. everyone else, blah. we're having trouble stringing together hits.
