High averages, little to no power, no walks, no SB...

Hey Dontel didn't know you were M's fan. So you follow baseball too. LOL Ichiro won't retire just because the M's won't make it to the playoffs. Expect him to test the free agent waters like he says he might do.

Yea....Lopez can be a 20-25 HR guy and can become one of the better 2B in the AL. Yu-Bet on the other hand is known only for his defense.

I hope so, but I don't see Lopez hitting for much power until Hargrove goes...M's management is too concerned with having Lopez go the other way and hit line drives to the point where they killed off his power numbers. That should keep him from being more than a solid 2B.

I took Lopez in the 26th round of a mixed AL-NL league with 12 teams. His upside made him worth the flyer, but he's not going to reach his power potential until he learns to work the count. For now he's on my bench (I have B.Roberts and 2B and I.Kinsler at MI). Betancourt will have only marginal value in a deep AL-only league.

I actually drafted Jose Vidro with my last pick in a 10 team mixed AL-NL league. Why? Because despite having no power he is 2B eligible and he's hitting third in a lineup that could score a decent amount of runs, and I don't expect him to get hurt as a DH.
Not that I'm starting him or anything...I have Barfield and F. Sanchez ahead of him on the depth chart.
