Texas is a team that the M's can sweep. Their offense has come alive during the past couple of games but their pitching is suspect.

How many games will be snowed out for this one? Over/under is at 2.

Rained out this time.

Typical bull**** M's game...the team gets hits but spreads them out and doesn't really do much when men are on base. Texas, on the other hand, groups all their hits together at the 1-4 spots in the lineup and drives in enough runs to win the game.
The lack of SBs is annoying, but even worse is the penchant for double plays.

So much for Washburn potentially having a consistent start.
Where's Felix when you need him.

sometimes thinking the worst results to be the best.
is it good for his value to be in this kind of slump?

well if not for the rangers defensive forthcomings this couldve been a nice little pitchers duel.
maybe we can get blown out and a brawl ensues.

Beltre has been hitting well this week. Let's see how long he can keep it up.

Not a bad performance by Batista. I'll take 6 2/3 innings, 3 runs, and some scattered hits from him any time.

...and a 3 BB game for Sexson. Haven't seen him take that many walks in quite awhile.
Nice shot by Guillen. Looks like some key bats are starting to warm up.

how long will vidro stay batting at 3rd?
and it was good to see batista hang out and the mariners offense giving him the runs so he could pitch with less preassure.

I like Morrow, but putting him in to finish out a game with a five run lead is quite a waste.

Awhile. He's off to a slow start...but keep in mind the highest batting average in the starting lineup today is Lopez with .261. Hargrove's stubborn...he won't move him as long as the team is playing decent ball.
One thing I will say about Vidro is he has decent pitch recognition and can work a count. He also started hit some line drives today, but ultimately they went right at people.

Josh Lewin is driving me nuts with his continued displeasure about the M's not trying to steal a base every damn time they get on. He must not have watched the team last year when they tried to be aggressive as a team and cost themselves games thanks to baserunning mistakes.

Why not hit Vidro 2nd and Beltre 3rd?

Beltre hit well last year in the 2nd spot, and not so good in the 3rd spot. I understand what Hargrove's doing there.
Personally, I'd think about putting Johjima 3rd...
