i don't think, with the horrible 9 game run, that the M's will make it winning the al west. so their chance, their only chance, is to make it with the wild card.

the yankees are 1st, mariners are 2 games behind, tigers are 3 games behind.

the mariners face 3 games at NY, then again 3 at detroit. so, like you say, it's pretty much now or never, this 6 games could give the m's the lead on the wild card or just push them down even more.

OH!!! and clemens vs. felix is going on right now! top 2nd, 1-1.

I swear I'm not a Yankee troll but what happened to your bullpen tonight?

what the hell, this is the most i've seen of the mariners this season (i saw it since the top 6th) and it was really a HUUUUUUUGE dissappointment.

the bullpen more than sucked, they really didn't care or i don't what happened.

what will be today's reaction? i hope they really show a completely different face. washburn "seems" to have the upper hand vs. hughes (rookie), but, anything, absolutely anything can happen with this team.

oh! but on the bright side, the M's had a chance to see many new guys play...

As they have the last 18 out of 20 games.

We better beat on Hughes...

The umpires stole game 3 of the Yankee series from you. I count at least 3 or 4 bad calls - calls that cost runs most likely. Terrible.

Rick White arguing wasn't even worth it, no one likes him.

I just noticed the M's released Rick White. I don't know what the hell the team was thinking in picking him up and then throwing him in high leverage situations.

The M's young pen has been one of primary reasons they're in the race, and now they're bearing the brunt of the blame for falling out of it. And that's bull. I'd rather blame the overpaid vets who did nothing all year. And an idiot manager who thinks he needs to compensate for a few bad 'pen performances by running his starters into the ground.
