yes, it will be interesting to see how bedard does on sunday. he didn't do that well pitching at baltimore last season.

I dont know about that article.
Sounds like a reporter got the shaft from Bedard and decided to make him look like a jerk.
Or... maybe Bedard really is a ****?
What does scare me is the fact that he only really had 1 and a half good years before we offered 7 mill for him... Plus he's already one arm surgery in...

Bedard's not a good source for a quote, so the press is going to **** him every chance they get.

Really bad start to the season if you ask me its like Jose took the heart and soul of this club to KC with him. We really need to look at bringing in some young blood into this line-up to replace vidro and wilkerson I know its early buy I am a bit in a panic mode right now! Hope to hell im wrong.

Our bullpen looked so good last year too..
Sexson better keep that up, or he'll be ran out before his contract expires.
^Lol, yeah, look at how well the Royals are playing.

Lopez is playing very well this year. It's a shame there's no one behind him getting any hits right now to keep piling runs on.
I didn't think it would be possible, but Sexson looks even worse than last year. I can understand being hesistant to cut your losses with the guy by waiving him or benching him, but what's the reason for leaving him as your cleanup hitter? Why not move Beltre up so you don't have a struggling Ibanez and Sexson back to back?
Batista has lost all control. Jesus...

God, McLaren's leaving Batista in there to die...why?

We should have a 6-0 record by the end of this series despite having a weak offensive output. It's just that mediocre teams consistently outplay the Mariners.

http://www.realgmbaseball.com/src_wiret ... h_orioles/ Wow this season has just started and can it get any worse? JJ, Bedard and 2 losses to the worst team in the AL. We need to right this ship right now. Or it's going to be a long season.

In The Edge the other day it said there was a one-armed player in like 1945 that batted .218 for I believe the Browns. I almost think he would be better batting 4th than Sexson.

What a horrendous loss today...
3 runs in the ninth, spoiling a great effort from Felix.

Why did they take Felix out? Goddammit...
Now something stupid is going to happen like the team adding some piece of **** veteran in the pen because McLaren's not going to trust anyone out there any more.

Hernandez told Stottlemyre that he was not feeling 100% meaning he was very, very tired.
That explains why Felix was pulled for O'Flaherty and then Lowe.
This is according to Geoff Baker's blog on the Seattle Times website.
Once we get J.J back, we won't have a problem closing out games. It's just the other guys in the bullpen that I'm worried about.

well, a pretty bad weekend for the Ms.
so far the starting pitchers haven't made that much of an impact. is it the bullpen or the lack of offense?
today's game, 4-4 so far, top 6th.

And another disappointment....
This is getting tedious.

Well our offense has been OK so far this season. 4 runs SHOULD be enough for the win. Should.

Time to unsticky this and let it slink back into the hell from whence it came...
