R.A. Dickey (who is he?) opens the series vs. the Angels.

If Seattle takes the series it could mean Division leaders.

Bullpen has been fine in the past games, I hope they continue like that.

Also I hope L

Ah, bless Lopez and his empty-calorie .300 average.

Knuckle-baller!

Should be an intense series. Oakland was our poison pill in the division 2 years ago, Angels last year. Maybe Rangers this year instead?

Holy hell what a catch by Beltre.

And why the hell is Rhodes McLaren's new go-to lefty? He got out of the inning, but he had trouble finishing off the first batter he faced despite a favorable count, and then gave up a sure double that would've scored two if Beltre weren't the best defensive third baseman in the game right now.

Damn, I hate whoever rear-ended Hunter's car. 3 run triple, and he robbed Sexson of his 3rd HR (who thought I would be saying that this season). Too bad no one else decided to really show up on offense.

I hate any and all knuckleballers. Sorry, but they just annoy me to no end. Throw Baek out there instead.

That hit in the 9th wouldnt have been a homerun by Sexson anyways, but still, it would have tied the game. Not really a tough catch by Hunter, but still impressive.

Sexson? I still hate em.

To be honest, I'm fairly pleased with the results of this series. Anaheim caught us on the backend of our rotation, so losing 2-1 isn't so bad.

How about that changeup by RRS on that full count? Absolutely filthy.

That was a big time pitch. The batter had this look on his face like "damn, he got me."

We're doing okay here. God I hope Bedard and Putz get back healthy for the rest of the season, and we don't undergo some pathetic losing streak in the next month that takes the wind out of our sails.

Yeah, I'm glad we escaped with a 2-1 split as the offense, with the exception of one Richmond Lockwood Sexson, was completely flat.

Great job by RRS. I'm glad he's getting those chances in meaningful games that he wasn't getting earlier...
