Bedard as a floppy headed Canadian is hilarious.
Yankees are pretty banged up. I like our chances in this series.

good for the Ms having bedard as the 1st pitcher for this series, bad because wang is maybe the only good thing the yankees have shown this season.
the M's have to take advantade of the yankees situation, if not i won't feel embarassed but i won't feel good.

My god, Bedard was fine pitching, but the defense was ****.
Ichiro getting hot in a hurry, 3 steals. That's a good sign if the guys behind him wanna swing the bat at all.
Clement and Balentien are kinda struggling after that first day.

No defense, and sill no offense. The M's are piling up the losses and digging themselves a hole they're probably not going to be able to get out of. For the M's to improve, they have to do the inconceivable and stop sucking, while the Angels still win while their best pitcher is rehabbing. Getting into the playoffs seem not only out of the question, but a complete joke for a team with a very bloated payroll. Well done, you incompetent ****.

^Not to add to the fire, but their best 2 pitchers.
Even the A's, who are rebuilding and traded away 2 of their best players, are better than us. How does that work out?

Damn, we're fading early this year. I was hopeful of at least a split with the Yankees the first two games of this series with Bedard and Hernandez taking the mound. Very disappointing to have dropped both games.
Yikes. We better get on a winning streak soon this May, or it could be a long year.

I guess it's in poor taste to call for the firing of a man who is grieving the loss of his father. So I'll ask the crass question: how long is the grace period?

OK its over, get his money,

Is it really a manager problem? I'd say its more of a personnel problem.

I was actually speaking of the general manager, who is grieving his
legendary father.

Well, the manager's not exactly a winner either. Who hired him again? Oh, that's right...

F**k this. We are easier than batting practice.
The biggest question mark surrounding this team was the offense, and that sure as hell can't get it done.

Bummer. We're fading. We put up our best pitching, and we got hosed. I'm getting that "it's going to be a long year" feeling.
We need a winning streak real soon, or I'm in danger of turning at least one eye away from the M's.

Some sad and sobering opining from USS Mariner:

The Angels have played .594 baseball through their first 32 games without John Lackey or Kelvim Escobar and with Vladimir Guerrero off to the worst start he
