Left-hander Erik Bedard, coming off a 2008 season limited by two trips to the disabled list, agreed to terms Tuesday on a one-year contract with the Seattle Mariners.
No financial terms were released.
Bedard, a native of Navan, Ont., near Ottawa, is the second arbitration-eligible pitcher signed by the Mariners in as many days. On Monday, the team signed right-hander Felix Hernandez to a one-year, $3.8-million deal.
Bedard’s deal is reported to be $7.75MM.
