AL Cy Young

Post#1 » by TTown » Thu Sep 3, 2009 4:26 pm

Zack Greinke 13-8, 2.32 ERA, 202 K
Felix Hernandez 14-5, 2.65 ERA, 185 K
Justin Verlander 15-7, 3.38 ERA, 215 K
Roy Halladay 13-8, 3.13 ERA, 165 K
CC Sabathia 16-7, 3.48 ERA, 167 K
Edwin Jackson 11-6, 3.09 ERA, 137 K

I guess those are the top guys in the AL. What's it going to take for Felix to win this thing? Does Greinke need to fall apart in his next 4-5 starts?

Felix probably has to win atleast 4 more games to get to 18 wins. To be honest, I think its him, Greinke, and Verlander.

I can't take CC and his 3.48 ERA seriously. Halladay has slowed (which isn't good in this kind of race), and Jackson just wont get enough wins and his ERA doesn't compensate enough.

Greinke will need to simmer down, atleast with the wins.
