It was rough watching tonight.
0 for 9 from three.

Dinwiddie was always a bad signing, he wasn’t a good player last year, but Kidd likes him and he has a reputation of being playable with the Mavs. The worst combinaison possible.

Some interesting facts.

Klay: +18.2 net rating and also +12 in +/- (both team high) with the Mavs having a 112.1 ORTG & a 93.9 DRTG when he was on the floor. Next best were Grimes minutes during which the Mavs had a 100 DRTG and +14 NETRrtg.

But Kidd obviously went with Dinwiddie for over 20 mins straight and Mavs scored only 4 points in OT and had -17 NETRTG

They also had some seriously bad shot selection (Kyrie included), which is just another proof that Kidd does zero coaching. He's constantly being saved by either Luka or Kyrie. This year he has a much better team but still as clueless as ever.

Dinwiddie complete and utter trash, as was Maxi.

The inconsistencies with Grimes is why he can't be relied on completely, nit that Kidd would go to proven young guys over his buddy

The bench got killed, worst outcome possible, OT game and a loss...
Defense wins draft lotteries!

Too easy... 28 minutes of trash by Dinwiddie was another masterclass move by that moron Jason Kidd.
Heat played PO defense (with a little zone defense) and we didn't know how to attack it... But it's normal, we have not offensive schemes.
Kidd didn't coach offense. He simply can't.

We missed Luka a lot tonight, he destroyed that weak zone or that single coverage defense a lot of times.

Klay played great defense, huge game at all. But no screen, no plays for him... Probably 9 step back 3s by Dinwiddie are better shoots
If he take more 2s than 3s there is a problem. Right Jason?
Our Cs were great again.
Mr 4/4 Kyrie was fantastic too.
Naji and PJ huge again.

Kleber and Hardy are not contender rotation players... Maxi is completely trash like i said from 3 years.
Hardy is not ready and maybe he will never will be, very low IQ basketball.

Bad L but it's difficult win a lot of games without Luka and coach less.
It's a shame because this roster is awesome.

Oh well the last defense was horrible for a supposed defensive coach. He can't even do that.

Fire Kidd ASAP. He is trash material.

And no Luka to blame... I really miss those comments

Kidd can't cover himself behind Luka fat ass forever.

I though Klay was having the most solid performance of the season, while Spencer the opposite. And then, Kidd happened. I think at this point he is just trolling, RS for him is just to play around things before PO's.
He may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot but don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot.

Relationship between Kidd and Klay will always be problematic. We got a huge break from Dinwiddie choosing LA last year.

What's going on with Kyrie and FT shooting in clutch situations?

Yeah it's been bothersome. He's been so iffy in these situations compared to last year. I somehow trust PJ in clutch free throws more then him right now.

Klay is not a Kidd player, he is not so good to create his own shots. He needs Luka more than Naji and Grimes.

It's easy to understand why he preferred Dinwiddie over Klay tonight. But it's not an experiment, Just bad coaching.

Another interesting fact.

Mavs as a team average 37.2% from 3 w/Klay ON & 31.2% w/Klay OFF and +9.6% when Dinwiddie is OFF.

Kidd "I got it!!! Let's play Dinwiddie"... Wait, what? :o

Spencer Dinwiddie averages 31% from the field and 28% from 3s... He took 4 of the last 6 shots of the game. Well done brillant coach.
