Good scrimmage for the guys.

It's fantastic to have 2 playable centers after years of Powell and Kleber.
Gafford was a beast tonight. He gained some weight and it's help a lot under the rim.

Klay -2 from Ray Allen... Can it be his Christmas gift? Who knows.

Naji a little bit out of rotation right now but it's ok, we are damn deep and we will need his help... But with this Klay and this Grimes it's hard to find minutes.

So, Luka's 3 pt shooting comes and goes, when it's on it's very exciting, but the consistent super power he has scoring wise is scoring at the rim, despite his lack of hops, he is an elite finisher, he started the year bad on this front, knock on wood, it's coming back...

Mavs have 100% of W when Powell&Kleber each score a 3. That's a huge stat.

I think he is a little bit lazy in RS and he wants to prevent any injury...

This is why I think Luka has a chance to break a lot of NBA records because his style of play and build should age well.
I said similar things about Dirk's longevity early in his career because he obviously never relied on speed and athleticism to be successful, and I see the same for Luka.

That is why I'm not overly concerned about Luka being a little overweight because he actually knows how to use his size and mixture of skillsets to his advantage. Kyrie on the other hand relies on speed and quickness to maximize his skillsets so his game may not age as well if he doesn't stay in tip-top shape.

They took care of business. Hopefully, they can give us a nice Christmas present tomorrow.

Kidd needs to figure out ways to get Lively more involved. The team is getting more acclimated to each other, so they should probably avoid making any big moves unless they're a no-brainer. The ones that need an upgrade are Maxi, Exum, and Morris. Just 3 spots not contributing.

Blazers set the tone early with their physicality. Gafford thrives in more physical games. Lively can get pushed around.
Psychotic. It didn’t make sense. I don’t know how you make it make sense

Reminds me of the old-time NFL days when several teams would have a power running back and a finesse running back.
Nice for the Mavs to have that one-two punch at center for a change.
