And Kyrie will be next, because he will be forced to play more minutes that he can handle carrying the load of the offense alone at his mileage, without Doncic
He may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot but don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot.

Injury aside, upcoming schedule are never kind to the Mavs team. Sactown is perhaps one of the weakest teams in the stretch but the Mavs still fail to win. Without Gafford and PJ, the chance is slim even as a play-in team. I could see the Mavs swap the current record with SAS. The SAS is currently listed as 9 in draft position. That means the Mavs could get a top-10 pick with a chance to Flaag.

Re: Welcome to Dallas Anthony Davis
Actually the biggest beneficiary of all these injuries is Luka himself. Imagine a scenario where the trade clicked and Mavs won a title. Since Luka was traded midseason, he'd be getting a Mavs championship ring mailed to him via Fedex. LOL
Imagine an all time great like Jordan and Kobe winning their first ring via mail. Good thing it didn't pan out and all Mavs bigs are injured and AD might even be out for the season. Because that would be really cold AF. Ring via Fedex. I'd imagine he also wouldn't want to show up for a cermony at the AAC with how it played out with Nico and Dumont. Nico's a demon if that happened.

I am speechless.
Honest question, are you a Mavs fan or anti Luka fan?

Do you honestly think Luka would want to show up at the AAC and shake hands with Nico and Dumont? Because that will never happen in a million years after what happened between those guys.

Do you ever do your research before posting? There are 16 teams worse than Mavs right now. How do you plan to get to top10 and then get a chance at Nr 1 with 3% odds?

And you also want to achieve this with Kyrie playing and praying he doesn't wave his option next season? Good luck with that.

Kyrie is signing no matter what, nobody is giving him 200+, is a contender and has a cap space. Different question is what happens next. Not motivated Kyrie with a big contract in his pocket can be a nightmare.

ESPN reporting that AD doesn't need surgery for his adductor strain. A couple of weeks rest, it is.
Looks like Mavs don't need to tank then.

Re: Welcome to Dallas Anthony Davis
It is up a organization if they would give their traded player a ring in case they would win the title. There is no written rule
And our 2025 mavericks will probably not give Luka anything

Harrison&Dumont will give an onion ring in that case

That could also be a problem because this injury might keep coming back to haunt him. Plus, i hope people are aware AD won't play every game like he did those 3 Q's. He'll be more reserved and careful. And on top of that, he looked really tired in the 3rd already.

I'm on team tank. Have Davis get surgery on it and heal/rehab for a year. Kidd is the perfect tank commander. He's done it before for Lively.
But all signs point to Davis being back in a month tops. So there goes the tank.

Will he play 3 quarters next game? Who knows.

It's 1% chances for AD to be back in 2 weeks.

I know. I never said he'll be back in 2 weeks. Reports are up to a month. But even that looks quite fast. We'll see.

They will force him to play injuried... Nothing news.
They have to save their face.

MacMahon is a mouthpiece for Nico and a sports doctor posted few days ago, if it's grade 2 it's weeks of rest, if it's grade 3, it's surgery and end of the season.
If it was nothing serious i'm pretty sure Mavs would immediately come out and say it's few days and he's back. But given the fact that he already had similar problems with the Lakers and Mavs rushed him back, it's safe to say they will take their time to heal as best as he can.
