I mean at the end of the day, this is a team missing essentially every starting-level player but Klay Thompson, who is maybe barely a starting level player now. Besides Kyrie, there's not a single player who can reliably create offense for themselves and others. People miss Kyrie on tight window cuts he could feast off of. There's no rim protection, they've been out-rebounded 10 straight games. Them even winning as much as they have while missing Gafford, Lively and for large parts, PJ is actually pretty impressive. But this is about what you can expect barring great luck or Kyrie getting 40. This team is just too injured to beat great teams consistently. But if they had Gafford and Lively back and a healthy PJ, i think they could've won these last two games. So imagine that Mavs are still getting a top 10 player in the mix. Hope AD can get back to 100% by mid march and they can have a shot at 7th seed. Then, I hope kyrie can make it to 65 games because he should make All-NBA this season with the floor-raising he's been doing, which has kind of gone under the radar.
