Mavs are doomed, so prepare for it.

That's what I was thinking also.

Look at other mediocre teams in the league. Hwaks, Magic, Kings etc etc, at least they have hope to be better.

We are like the Clippers in the 90s, owned by the WORST owner of all time.

We don't have hope. Not even a slight bit of hope at this moment. What did Mavs fans do to deserve something like this? :( :( :(
Both of us have been on these boards for many years. I have been on here with this account for over twenty one years. I had another account before this one. Talking Mavs basketball with you and others has consumed much of my life. The good days and the bad days. Like you, I have no hope going forward, and I continue to be shocked at what's happened.

I expect the Lakers to pursue Zion. Not our generational talent that was following in the footsteps of our legend Dirk.

Same here. I've been a Mavs fan since Ro was drafted and been on this board for almost 2 decades. It's almost as if we'll have nothing to talk about. Guys like Christie will help keep interest and give us a little hope, but we all know the reality this team is going nowhere very fast for a hell of a long time.
Never was a huge Luka fan but at least his game was entertaining and you knew there was always a chance when he played.

Now we have no PO caliber team with very few young keepers. Next to no draft picks. We know there is no way in hell AD, Kyrie and Lively will stay healthy next season, and it's all but certain Nico will mortgage whatever small future we have left on acquiring KD just to try to save face.

This is the ultimate Mavs fan nightmare that none of us will ever wake up from....at least not for another decade at the minimum.

1 of 2 things would need to happen for Mavs fans to start to heal from all this.

1. The Mavs win a title within the next 2 years. We know this isn’t happening.

2. Miriam Adelson sells the team and Dumont and Nico are fired.

Even if 1 happens, I won't care.

You are right about 2, but it won't happen.

Hence why we are fcuked.

I'm a magic fan and I'd have offered Paolo banchero, Anthony black and picks

That would have been a far better offer then the one we ended up getting. I would still not do it for the Mavs but it would at least be more defensible.

Also the Luka Magic name would have had been fun to have in Orlando.

I wonder what went on Minnesota's head. Because I would have honestly said yes to Anthony Edwards for Luka. They declined?

Simple. Because it's a lie. It never happened.

Nico can get fired this off-season and it doesn't solve the issue I have with the ownership. Selling the team is what I will hope for but it won't happen.

I still think once the gambling vote fails in Texas and especially once the fans and Irving, TX residents reject funding a new arena they will sell the team. All that will happen within the next 2 years.
