Ultimately the injuries to the team started the end for this season. Objectively speaking, the Kyrie injury, Gafford injury, Lively injury are all independent of the Luka trade. If Luka entered the postseason with Kyrie out with a torn ACL, it would still most likely be a play in. And Luka can score 40 but with PJ and Lively getting zero pts, it will most likely be chalked as a loss. Calling a spade, a spade. Injuries happen and best you can hope for is a healthier year all around. Otherwise it will just be miserable fans again. Enjoy the summer!

Too easy point of view ... I don't remember a 0 point game by Lively and PJ with Luka, simply because they are better scorer with him.

I have a question for you my friend, if Luka is the Slovenian Westbrook who is Davis? The american Linas Kleiza?

He has empty stats for real and can't carry even a g-league team. Overrated.

I have no idea who Linas Kleiza is. Some white boy in Europe?

But I'm not arguing with you. If you say Davis is overrated then he's overrated. I don't care about Davis scoring 40. The injuries are independent of the trade but fans will tie them together because they are frustrated about what happened with Luka.

Yeah i disagree. I guess you weren't around when Luka was solo giving "prime and healthy LAC team" insane problems. Pushing that team to game 7 when even KP was almost a complete non factor.

You really think Luka and even Grimes still on the team, wouldn't be able to slip into the playoffs? PJ, Lively, Gafford are completely different players with Luka and Klay would be open for days on that 3pt line. Add BWill from the bench and a healthy Kyrie... that's a very strong team. I don't believe Kyrie would get injured, it was a freak accident due to Kidd being forced to overplaying him. He even had back problems prior to that and Kidd was still pushing his minutes.

No need for a lengthy explanation. I agree with you.

You don't deserve respect if you don't know who is Linas Kleiza :banghead:

Not really, Kyrie injury is heavy related to Luka trade.

Luka reached the WCF with a worse supporting cast than this... Luka-Klay-Naji-PJ-Lively is not a contender lineup but enough for a deep PO run.

Now this roster need a revolution. It's unfixable.

In hindsight, I'd like to say AD and Luka would make a better tandem scoring 40 a piece. But the sample size of games with Kyrie and AD is very small. Would like to see more of those next season.

Watching Grizzlies getting r**ed by OKC makes me feel good about Mavs being eliminated.
Everyone has a right to be stupid. Some just abuse the privilege.

Last year we kicked OKC asses so hard. Now we are out of PO. It's all absurd.
