Anybody want Shawn Marion?

i mean, he could opt out after this season if i remember correctly...and that would leave the heat with nothing.. which could be good in a way since they'll have like 17 million dollars to spend in free agency..

what's the rule on recently traded players? when can they be traded again?

maybe if we send JET+ fillers for marion, since miami does need a PG after the smush parker signing turned out to be nothing but garbage...

They can be if not paired with any other player, but I'm afrad that we have nothing Mimai wants if you take our big 3 out (whom I would not trade for him).

I don't see any way Miami turns right around and trades him. Even if he opts out they'll have his rights, and there aren't any teams with cap space who will be looking to sign him.

It would be pretty hilarious though if Phoenix ended up allowing us to get Marion.

As much as I would want it, Miami wouldnt do it... He wants to be in Miami, and im sure Pat Riley will pay him.

hmmm... miami would probably bite into something like terry+hassell+diop for marion.... i doubt dallas lets go of diop...

makes sense for miami though... with mark blount left as their only center after shaq left and mourning injured, diop would be a very nice aquisition... terry could pair up with wade in the backcourt, kinda like a shooter-slasher combo.... he'd compliment wade pretty well...

now imagine if we got marion, phoenix would be pretty darn pissed and the west just got even stronger... LOL

No, we wouldn't bit on that. That would be awful for us, in fact.

I'm afraid that, if Marion is getting dealt, you guys won't be in the equation. We'll be looking for youth, picks, and expiring contracts. More likely though is that we keep him and try and compete with he, Wade, Haslem, our lottery pick, and whomever else we can add with our expiring contracts (via trade) and the MLE and LLE...
