We could probably get Foyle pretty cheap.

Seriously, most of the big guys in the west are skilled players which means that we definitely need a shot blocker of some type. Bass and Dirk will be an embarrassment at the 5 in the POs. I'm not sure we necessarily need a big thick player...that is what Damp is for. I think a more mobile big guy with some reach and hops would be fine.

We don't have an answer for Duncan, Amare, and maybe Gasol with our current roster. A more mobile big guy is what we need to hang with them.

That's it right there.

Edit: I can't help but think that if the Mavs did not pick up his option for next year, Ager would have been waived instead. Now, Ager's salary next year + lux would be the consequense of keeping Fazekas.

Told you guys that was a bad move.

Why are we so concerned about a 2nd round rookie that is 15 on our depth chart when we are a championship caliber team attempting to gear up for the playoffs? This team has sacrificed the long-term future for an aggressive attempt at a championship.
Faz is nothing to this team now other than a possible throw-in in another deal.

If the Mavs want to keep Faz so bad, they could make a 2 for 1 deal before signing off on the Kidd deal.
