You get paid $133k+ per day to get back into shape if you feel like it. Or he could even just sit around with the team and do nothing I suppose.
He gets a prorated share of the 4 mil. So it is more like $1.8 million, which only equates to $60k a day. The deal is that the league had a set of minimums which they required of KVH & NJN to satisfy the FA contract. As stated KVH is independently wealthy and makes more from his business and interest on his investments. I truly believe he did this as a favor to Dallas and NJ, but you know how people are about favors.
They are willing to do it as long as it does not interrupt their normal routine TOO MUCH.
