Another, Nets fan here.

Well Wright had 3 big problems in Nets.

Being a sub for VC, RJ and having a coach like Lawrence Frank.

Make a mistake in the offense and you are at the bench, that is the understanding LF developping rookies and giving them confidence.

If AJ would let him play through his mistakes, he would be ok, otherwise he would be an unrestricted FA at the end of the season (Nets waived his Bird rights....)

On defense, in first though, he has potential, but I sometimes felt, he is sleeping when the guys he is defending making his move, but he is good against guys like LeBron but bad against guys like Wade or Genobli.....

I have another question for you, does Mavs has site like www.netsdaily.com, collecting all Mavs news together.

I want to follow little bit JKidd....

Nets fan here...I really hope Antoine improves his game in Dallas. He's a decent defender. Offensively, he was terrible for the Nets. Maybe he just didn't fit in our system? One thing to note for you Dallas fans: He's a terrible free throw shooter, shooting only 62 percent in his career, which is weird because he plays the 2.

Magee, he came out of college in his Junior year, not sophmore. IMO Antoine Wright will be at BEST nothing more then a solid rotation player. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

BTW, I'll be rooting for the Mavs this season now that you guys have Kidd. GO MAVS!

he averaged about 7 points behind VC and RJ.
but i think he has to prove himself in practice.

he will be behind Jones and Terry at SG

Kidd / Terry / Barea
Jones / Terry / Wright
Howard / Stack / George

and when terry is at PG stack could play the 2 if jones' on the bench as well.

i think his situation and style of play is similar to Marquis Daniels

Mark it down. 7pts per 25 mins.
His shooting percentage is not as good as Jason Kidd.
Besides defense, that's not much to expect of him.
Let's see how things happen first.
Josh Howard surprise us in his rookie years.

If he can play some serious D, he should have a place in this rotation. The Mavs haven't had a decent perimter defender since Raja Bell.

Kidd, Dirk, and Josh can handle the scoring. If this guy can be part of a rotation that makes the likes of Kobe work a little harder to get his, he's a fine addition.

He's not from Texas... I believe he grew up in Cali and went to prep school on the east coast.

^^ He went to A & M, he's home!
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

After his interview with Bob Costas... there are a lot of Aggies that aren't really happy about that.

I know he's an Aggie. I was just letting you know that he's really not from Texas. He just spent 3 years playing basketball and learning about chickens at A&M.

Okay, but bravo for him for coming out with the truth on the Aggies academics.

I'm pretty sure that is a nationwide issue with "student" athletes. Nobody forces those kids to major in ag development or general studies. Most just don't have the drive to hit the books like they need to graduate with a real major so they take the easy way.

Every college has easy majors.
