Damn it 2007, it's not the 90's! Geez LOL!
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

I like your trade from a mav's POV. Ellis would definatley ease the pain of becoming slow and predictable. Pietrus is just a expiring filler as he is too dumb to pick up the Mav's playbook in 28 games. Nene (no loneger Hilario...just 1 name..Nene) would be great big man pickup if he can recover from his cancer before the playoffs start.

sonics trade
chris wilcox
damien wilkins
earl watson
delonte west

why for dallas they get a vet pg, a decent big and depth off the bench

why for seattle, kidd has 21 milion coming off the cap next year and the sonics need to shed payroll for their move to oklahoma city, durant and green get to grow with kidd at the helm for a year and a have and once kidd expires they will be a major player in free agency

Not my idea, but I like it. I will knee jerk and predict failure unless mavs pull off this trade.

Who is Petro? I know we need a big, Dirk definitely wouldn't be able to pick up the slack when Dampier is out. And even though Bass is a beast, he is not a good defender and we need him more for offense than to use his fouls.

Aren't there restrictions for trading newly acquired players?

Would you trade Harris, Hassell, Diop, 2008 1st, and 2010 1st for Watson, West, Wilcox adn Wilkens? That's essentially what that trade does. I'd rather have Kidd than the sum of that Seattle trade.

60 days if traded with someone else. Immediatly is okay if traded by themselves.

Another Idea, if we are ready for JJ to be the backup PG.

Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Dallas, Chicago, and Utah being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Dallas, Chicago, and Utah had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I would have liked for us to have been involved in trades with Kurt Thomas or Eddy Curry. I am also a pretty big Gerald Green homer, and I would have liked for the Mavs to have gotten him instead of the Rockets.
