There is no way anyone wants to gives Lue 3 million so I wouldnt worry about it.

And when the playoffs come, I doubt Lue even sniffs the court. This doesnt really make much of a difference to me.

Just telling you what norm said. I jsut have the feeling that mavs feel they have to do more. They are involved in every cut player discussion.

All will be 30yo by the time playoffs start.

Add Antoine Wright, and that's 7 free agent players that should/would not be back with us next year. I still would keep George, but unsure if that's realistic with his agent.

You forgot JJ Barea!?!?

can you imagine the type of players we will end up signing with those 8 roster spots? We could be in a load of trouble...

By the way,
3 are PF/C
3 are SG/SF
& 2 are PG

It will leave:
Kidd
Terry/Stack
Howard
Dirk/Bass
Damp

We have no 1st round draft pick and it seems no FA/agent wants to deal with us... We may be in a load of trouble for the 2008-09 season and beyond...

Edit: JJ Barea will be a Free Agent this offseason but I don't think he's 30 yet...

Lue is an upgrade over Barea and really that's all I care about.

I dont know about you guys but watching Barea start at PG those games were painful. I like the dude a lot, but he can't run the point for this team. When Kidd goes out, our O goes down the drain.

Worthless players on our bench: Juwan, JJ, Eddie, Allen/Wright since Avery never plays them.

That is so true, nothing like worthless players on your bench. I rather have Giricek than Lue. He does nothing for us defensively and has never been a floor general.

Good move. Lue was about the only option we had at pg. At least there's a possibility he could play decent and keep Terry away from the point. If it doesn't work, no big deal.

never have i seen a guy make a career over 1 game, the funny thing is they didnt even win that game (was the only game they lost in that playoffs)

Lue is just an average version of Terry. If we dont want Terry running the point, why in the hell do we want Lue?

Lue is a rare type of player. He has the ability to be responsible for an 18 point surge over a 2 minute period. He can give you 6 and give up 12 on the other end.
