Josh was butthurt he didn't make the all star team. Unlike Deron, Baron Davis, and Manu (who IMO infintely deserved it over him), he has not yet shown he can take over games.

The time would be now, I hope he can prove me wrong.

The only way Josh will pick it up is if he clicks with Kidd. He has to move better without the ball, not dribble so much.

This time period will make or break Josh Howard. I so agree that if he learns to move well without the ball, he has the potential to become a superstar...
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

If Josh can learn to take over a game, it worths some losses. He's been disappeared long enough to allow the opponents to forget him in the 4th quarter.

I expect Damp, Bass, Magloire and Allen to show flashes of their talent on the floor. Perhaps Magloire is the happiest of the mix. He really wants to turn his career over.

I think Avery should try out Antoine Wright to see if he can provide some scores.

I think this needs to be more of a time when J-Kidd needs to step it up. He has been playing awful lately and he needs to snap out of it, especially now. I agree that Howard needs to become a leader as well though

I agree with you on Magliore because they need to backup Dampier with someone other than Bass and Allen since they will play at PF primarily. If magliore can resurect his career more power to him I remember his play back in the day and I thought he had a lot to offer a team, hopefully it happens and he shows us something I know I will be rooting for him. Nothing much left to root for oh and I want Antoine to get more PT as well.

I agree, this is an opportunity for Kidd to take over. If the Mavs can have some success with Kidd running the show, it will make it even sweeter since we have struggled with all of the iso crap while Dirk was playing.

I have a feeling though that Josh will try to do to much by himself and keep the ball out of Kidd's hands.

Everyone is right about Josh needing to become a player like Marion who can work well without the ball. He needs to become a finisher.
