Mavs have a good chance to make the playoffs with their schedule in these remaining weeks. Here's my prediction.
Apr 2 vs Golden State -- Mavs win with Dirks return 117-111
Apr 4 at LA Lakers -- Mavs lose a close one again 100-98
Apr 6 at Phoenix -- Mavs win in a Dirk-Amare shootout 114-110
Apr 8 vs Seattle -- Mavs destroy the Sonics 102-82
Apr 10 vs Utah -- Mavs win when Kidd gets his first and only triple double of the season 94-88
Apr 12 at Portland -- Mavs win 106-86
Apr 13 at Seattle -- Mavs win 99-81
Apr 16 vs New Orleans -- Mavs lose, but it doesn't matter, they have already clinched the 8th playoff spot 105-91

I would be surprised if the Mavs win some of the games you think they will, but I do hope Kidd gets that 100th triple double here pretty soon... Ill say our record for the rest of the season is 5-3 because I can see the Mavs stumbling against a team like the W's again, but I have faith that we will beat New Orleans in the last game of the season, not like it will make too much difference though

Playoffs
Dirk coming back has Mavs playing at a different level. Plus, Dirk is rested with that knee injury. Perfect timing for the playoff stretch.
I see the Mavs playing the Spurs in the 1st round. That's got me pumped up. I love it. Although with the Mavs luck they'll probably end up playing the Hornets or the Jazz. Those are the only two teams I wouldn't want to play. Those two point guards, Deron and CP are tough competition. They will replace Nash in the all star game next year.
