He may not be a good judge of talent, but you can't discount his inside info. And you also can't discount the fact that Lebron would like to play with a real PG in his same age range.

Nuff said!

Actually there are several sports "analysts" that I never listen to, Screaming A Smith being on the top of the list.

I suppose there is some truth in that, but like everything else that BSPN spins, it should be taken with a grain of salt.

Lebron going to NJ has always been a real possibility and with Devin there and partying it up with his BFF JayZ, it is an even more real possibility.

LeBron wanted to play with Kidd.

He even said that he dunked on Dirk in the ASG, because he stoled his point guard.

If LEbron goes to the Nets, its not because of Devin. Will be because of Brooklyn and Jay-z.

Devin could very well be a factor, he is a young and upcoming PG for the future (Kidd and Lebron are close friends, but realistically Kidd will be done in 2 years).
But Devin as the SOLE reason for Lebron chosing who he will play for (like the Mavs had a realistic chance JUST b/c of Devin) is SAS spin.

NJ= a nice young core with Devin + JayZ + market

Lebron knows he needs a point guard if to get a ring. He's played with every position thus far, and a true point guard is the one that's been missing. It's going to be interesting to see what happens once Lebron becomes free of Cleveland.

I doubt LeBron would seriously want to come to Dallas even with Dev... Stephen A. Smith is an awful wannabe-Charles analyst. If LeBron DOES in fact go to New Jersey, its because of Jay-Z... But I doubt he will even leave Cleveland when that time comes.

I don't believe LBJ would take MLE at all. No matter it is Dallas Mavericks or New Jersey Nets.

I think the point was that Devin and Josh was still under contract, Dirk and/or Josh could be traded at that point and most every old guy would have expired by the time Lebron becomes a FA. Either Dallas pushed under the cap or S&T with Dirk or Josh being the bait if it came down to that vs. walking away for nothing.

NJ needs to get Carter and Jefferson out for expirings and picks to make that work in NJ.

Does he want to play in New Jersey or does he want to play with Harris? I think it's the former.
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

And Kobe wanted to play here...

And so did KG.

And at one time Shaq and T-Mac wanted to join up here...

With an owner like Cuban we will forever be linked to superstars that are looking for a change of scenery.

Cuban will never win a finals as long as Stern is commissioner. Stern won't allow it.
