This series showed we need another reliable scoring threat. Battier and Head are not that.

As much as I don't like Josh right now, I'd pass on that

Raps fan here. Ah the sting of a first round defeat still lingers without you. I know how it feels.

Personally, I think the Mavs could get a much better deal for Josh.

I would rather the Mavs look for someone much younger and better at scoring than Battier... I think they should be looking to trade for a high 1st rounder. I think J-Ho is worth at least that.

oh ok well i was just wondering. It seemed to me that the mavs didnt have any problems scoring with dirk, terry, stack etc, and you could have used a great defender like battier, defense seemed like your weakness. thanks for the responses

we need a reliable offensive threat alongside Dirk. Scoring was most definitely a problem in this series.

Stack? hahaha. I'd give Stack away for free AND even throw in some goodies. He's done.

Geez. I'm a Rockets fan and I would never make that trade. Battier - the ultimate glue guy and ever-reliable warrior, for pot-smoking Mr. Mail-It-In-During-The-Playoffs Howard?

Hell to the no. Josh can keep his superior offensive game and marijuana stashes to himself.

It's a bad trade for Houston and they take a step back. Josh won't help the team like Shane does. The trade doesn't exactly mean the same for Dallas, but it's still one to consider, because Shane can provide us with so many needs.

Overall, we need to consider all our options, but I really feel Josh Howards value has sunk. My fellow Dallas fans will most likely act like it's high, but that's not the case and for good reason.

What are the lengths of Battier and Head's deals? We need some 1 or 2 year deals.

I voted yes, but we all knew that I would...
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...
