J-Ho to the Bucks for Villanueva and #8 Pick
I think this would be a perfect trade for the Mavs. But will the Bucks do it? You tell me. With the #8 pick we can draft highly athletic Joe Alexander. The kid would fit great with Kidd's offense. Also with Charlie V just makes our bench that much stronger. Comments?

a) It doesn't work unless both teams added a LOT of salary to the deal Josh is BYC and the Bucks are closer to the Luxury Tax than they are from being able to absorb Josh's salary.
b) Even if the trade were to go down as ordered: Then we have created 2 holes in the starting lineup.
If you trade Howard you have to replace him with a starter, at worst, and preferably address both the SF/SG positions. IMO the only way it makes sense to send Howard to Milwaukee is for a package that contained Redd, Mason, and Villanueva OR Redd, Simmons, & C-V.
10:20 (pm, 6/29/06) The Mavs take Maurice Ager at No. 28... Ager walks up to the stage in a triple-breasted, oversized beige suit, goes to shake hands with Stern and immediately gets whistled for a foul on Dwyane Wade.
