I was looking to keep Josh here. My idea was to offer Nj more than just expiring deals what Cleveland did. As NJ has no interest in Bass, they have numerous talents after the draft at C and PF, maybe we could flip Bass for a promising SF/SG prospect to get it done...

If it takes Josh to get Vince here, i dont want to lose Bass in the same move also.

Dallas looks like we are going after Diop again and if that's the case S&T's are all that will work but if we take back a bad contract like TT then they need to take Terry and we can take on Mags and give them Bass because it looks like they are going to lose Brand if he opts out.

Here is my two cents concerning da Clips.

I love Magette, plain and simple and would love to see him in a Mavs uniform.
Tim Thomas is the kind of dirty player these choir boys need to get them over the top (a la Sheed, Bowen)

Give them Bass, Stack, and either Wright or the 2009 2nd round pick for Magette and Thomas is a great idea and would solidify the team.

But, this team would be a team that would take Terry. What if we did a Terry and Bass trade for Magette and Thomas? We still would have enough trade pieces to use to acquire others. This would leave us Stack, George, Jones, Barea, Wright, and others to use in other acquistions. I dunno, maybe I am making this too complicated.

then you sign Diop to MLE or S&T, and Diop is part of the C rotation

where you could see Diop/Brand/Dirk on the floor
similar to the Damp/Bass/Dirk on the floor last season...
