I would have never thought it but I have to agree with dfn on this topic (and on our off-season in general so far). he is a bit harsh in his statements but he hits it.
my last hope now is artest, he is one of the few difference makers. he could also change the perception of the mavs giving them a mean attitude.
wow, this season is "swimming away" (just like dirk said some years ago) even before it started. god knows I hope that diop and greene is not the end of this offseason

Not quite the case this year. Everyone knows that the SG position is open and very few teams can offer more than the Mavs. I just think our front office is too stupid/lazy/arrogant/incompetent to get something done.
We've got a mediocre team with a front office that believes it's a championship contender.
That's a horrible combination.
