The Mavericks are now down to the 15-player limit after cutting Cheyne Gadson, JaJuan Smith and Reyshawn Terry.

Dallas Mavericks are slowly becoming "Rick Carlisle's Old Buddies Squad"
Good Luck Reyshawn, you'll be valued somewhere else by more than just the fans.

Does this mean we lose Reyshawn Terry's rights now?

DMN is saying that Mcleod was still around because of Barea injury. Maybe terry can come back after they get rid of McLeod

Thanks for that info Cat!

IMO (and I have to put that because people say I come across to hard) Kidd and J. Terry would have been fine until Barea got back, and if nto, 3rd string PGs can be had later. I think (IMO) tht was a bad decision byt the powers that be.

They do risk someone else getting him and stashing him in NBDL

I agree, its not like we are every going to need or want Jason Terry and JJB on the floor at the same time. We may very well lose ReyShawn at this point for no reason.

Bye-bye McLeod
http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archi ... on_mcleod/
The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have requested waivers on guard Keith McLeod.

McLeod (6-2, 190) signed as a free agent on July 11, 2008 after playing internationally with Montepaschi Siena in 2007-08. He averaged 4.5 points, 0.3 rebounds and 0.3 assists in 14.4 minutes in four Euroleague games. He was sidelined the entire preseason due to a right hamstring strain.

The four-year NBA veteran has played with five different teams (Minnesota, Utah, Indiana, Golden State and Dallas) and has career averages of 5.5 points, 2.7 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 200 games.

The Mavericks roster now stands at 14 players

I'm sure Orlando will pick you up....or not.
