It would be great to get Gerald Green some expierence with the starting line up but for now at least or for the 1st half of the season he has to play against other teams 2nd stringers. Cause i dont think hes ready to take on teams 1st stringers yet at least on the mental side of the game and guarding them.
Coming off the bench and growing with the team is something he needs and working him with Jkidd dirk and j-ho would be really good for him cause all the best defenders would be guarding dirk and jhova
He will get better but he has very bad man defense...or at least his fundamentals
when your guarding the guy at the wing u gotta force him baseline for help but he never did it last night when ever he got beat off the dribble he let his guy get straight to the paint...whats sad though is that dirk is the same
Josh and Jkidd are fundamentally sound on man defene...i think Jkidd is smart but i think with josh its become a very good habit cause i seriously think hes an idiot

I think Josh is straight up a complimentary player and the offense cannot be run through him i mean the dude doesnt have NBA level ball handling he is very predictable:
If he goes right it...he will put up a floater or drive straight to the basket
If he goes left its a step back jump shot or pull up
Thats what kids in high school and College level are doin
SO PREDICTABLE

Kobe, Pierce, Ray Allen, Micheal Redd,Deron Williams, CHauncey billups, Tmac, Vinc and Rip all can go either way with the ball and pull up or drive
Our best option as the season continues is Green cause even though his handles are not amazing he can get to the basket with just pure athleticism and shoot over anyone right now
hopefully he gets better ball handling and a better understanding of the mental aspect of the game cause i think he can be a killer
