Wright is not a starter and terry cannot play defense. So we are stuck with getting our bigs into foul trouble early because they can't stay in front of them or get bet.

Our bigs will find a way to get into foul trouble even if we have Caron Butler at the 2 guard.

True enough JES, but at least we got two. As hard as it is to say Stack was doing a decent job at guarding Kobe last night and showed he still could kinda prevent Kobe from getting the ball..that said kobe was still, Kobe.Green did a great job for guarding the best player in the world, i know that Howard and Kidd or our best defenders but Green showed signs of potentially being the "lock down defender" we need. Cross my fingers but George is coming back soon and if he can play D and bring us energy maybe we can get some defensive stops every now-and-then.

I was amazed that the Mavs put Gerald Green on Kobe. And I was even more amazed that he did a really good job of defending him. Of course maybe Gerald is more of a SF at least as we have been playing him but I was encouraged that he could play some defense. And as much as I hate Stackhouse he did a great job on Kobe in the 4th of last game.

Wright however was suppose to be a defensive specialist and I have yet to see that at all.

You have to give credit where credit is due. I think Wright can give Fouling 101 training to the rest of the team. He is pretty good at making sure the offensive player is unable to get the shot off, but on them token, not get flagrant fouls. It seems like something simple enought to do, but this team is used to giving too many "And 1s" or in Stack's case, very hard to flagrant fouls.

You guys have good shooters like Stack and Jerry.

The problem is no inside presence.
Dampier is not going to draw double team, Dirt is not really inside scorer.

Put Howards length at SG? Play Singleton @ SF? do you guys think he has the nescessary quickness to defend the SF spot, or is he an undersized PF in your mind?

i watched him alot with the Clippers, but he was being utilized @ the PF slot when Brand wasnt in the game. Offensively, he'd be your garbage man.
