Randolph is a desperate move, but these are desperate times in Mavs land.

Kaman would be a terrific pickup and a steal by the Mavs.

why has kaman been popping up in trade rumors? it's not like he's overpaid, just wondering why he's involved in a bunch of there trade rumors

Because at one point in time (Last week) the Clippers publicly put Kaman on the block

LMFAO at anyone who thought there was even a smidge of interest of Randolph to Dallas!!

Who reported it again?

EDIT: Nevermind..... NYdailynews..........Nuff said. Kinda like Curry for G. Wallace. I think those newspapers by the checkout stand have more credibility

I dont see how he fits in LA unless they unload Kaman or Camby. I have the perfect trade ...

Clips stand with three big men now (Camby, Randolph, Kaman). One of them can still go.

If the Mavs dont make a serious offer for Kaman after this deal then something is seriously wrong with the FO.

^ This fits right in with getting rid of Kaman. Randolph is a fairly good fit with Camby as an offense-defense frontcourt. Baron and Thornton may or may not be enough to get them in the playoffs. I'd sacrifice Gordon and try to upgrade SG/SF. Kaman and Gordon interest anyone?

We can now put this rumor to rest.......

Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins to the Clippers for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley.

It would definitely take Howard to get both. However, I could see where a Howard/Bass for Kaman Gordon might have a chance.

Mavs:
Kidd/Terry
Gordon/Green
Williams/Wright
Dirk/Singleton
Kaman/Damp

I'm not crazy about that lineup.
However, another trade involving Stack and any of our youngsters (Green/Williams/Wright/Singleton/Barea) or a combination of, for a solid 2 or 3 wouldn't be too bad.

Stack/Williams/Wright for Miller maybe?
and/or
Diop/Green/Singleton for G. Wallace?

Kidd/Terry
Miller/Gordon
Wallace/George
Dirk/?
Kaman/Damp

Now that is a lineup that I could get excited about and I would shut up about going into rebuild mode.

Think they are ready to give up on Gordon that quickly? I would think the reason they parted with Mobley is to give him more shots.
