i wish i couldve seen this improbable comeback, how the hell did they win w/terry/kidd/barea on the floor? or was terry out and barea in?

o and although i love mark followill i think i like chuck cooperstein even more, both are a joy to listen to, if chuck wasnt so damn ugly he could get a tv gig (assuming he wants it)

We have shown yet another flash tonight, great win/comeback. Barea was huge (never thought I'd say that) and all I can hope for is he continues to be a solid contributor and hold his own behind J-Kidd and JET. What do you guys think of the 3 guard set; I think it looks that it could be very useful in certain situations. JET is continuing his strong play as the top 6th man in the league. We shouldn't have been down as deep as we were but we got the W, go mavs.

Good game guys. Terry and Barea really stepped it up.

Dang, if you guys can win a game after playing badly for the majority of it...your playoff streak will be fine this year.

Due to school, once again I was unable to see the game and can only see the box score.

Can somebody please tell me that there was some sort of reason George played 22:03 and only got 3 pts, 1 reb, 1 stl (1 to to wipe that out), 1 ast and 2 PFs and one of his shots blocked? His +/- was our team's worst again; it was -12. Was he playing tremendous man D or something?

In fact looking at the box, our starters are all in the negative and our bench is all posative.

Loooks like Bass had a good game. 14 & 7 in 22 min (no TO and no shot's blocked). +13
Barea had a good game with 15 & 6 on 7/11 shooting in 25 min. He leads the +/- with +21
Terry still doing good w/o Howard at 26 on 9/17 shooting. +11

And for crying out loud...why is Williams still Jacking 3's? Doesn't he know that Antoine Walker is hated by every team...and if he gets good, he may be Tim Thomas who noone like either?

Did Dampier get hurt or was the plan to play him just 3 minutes?

LOL at Gerald Green. I bet he is the started with the fewest minutes in the NBA.

Diop 9 boards and 2 blocks...meh...at least it was only in 23 min.

Dirk was Dirk, 10-27 FG, 29, 10, 2, 2, & 2

SOOOOOOOOO
From the things IO have see thus far this year, Barea is streaky. Terry doing well at the 2 guard. Kidd will have more 0 pt games than 20 pt games, Williams can't shoot 3's, Green will never play, and George has sucessfuly replace Stackhouse in my doghouse.

I think Williams rebounded pretty well and played respectable defense. Granted the Clippers were hitting everything they hoisted. And tonight was the first time I see how fast JJ is.

JES...the bottom line is that we are very average at best which is basically what everyone on this board and most of the media thought before the season started. Their record and play is a true indicator of this and the main reason why several of us have been harping on going the rebuild route.

And its not like the teams we have beaten are exactly power houses (not to mention this game, NY, and Indiana could all have easily been losses which would put us at what...6-11).

Lets see, who have we beaten:

NY
Memphis
Minny
Sac
Charlotte
Houston
San Antonio
Clippers
Indiana

I can't say that I'm impressed considering where we were 2 years ago and we are still a veteran team with the same core that we had back then.

When is Cuban and Donnie going to get it through their thick heads that this group is completely washed up?

We are 7-1 without Stack and I truely believe we win the LA game if Howard plays and George is deactivated.

I still want to see what happens with our expirings crap (Stack & George). Want to see if we can land an upgrade with Terry, Stack, George and signing Marbs to vet min.

And of course, I want to see how we play against better teams as the Spurs one don't count and we split 1-1 with Houston.
