Catalyst and f l u r p Retire!

Post#1 » by Howard Mass » Thu Dec 4, 2008 1:16 am

Two longtime moderators have decided to retire from the forum.

catalyst and f l u r p have been great moderators over the years.

I remember when I first brought catalyst in a few years ago, he was unsure that he was the right guy for the position at the time. However, I had a feeling he would work out great and proved me great as he became a great leader on this forum.

He is retiring to spend more time with his wonderful family. I wish you nothing but the best Cat.

f l u r p started off as one of the best posters on the forum and worked his way into moderatorship. He once retired before and came back for a playoff stint. However, he could not go away and decided to stay on even longer than expected.

Unfortunately, non-cyber life has taken up a lot of his time and he is going to retire again.

The good news is both are still going to be around to post and hopefully they will feel that urge to return to moderatoring again.

Until then, on behave of everyone at RealGM, thanks for your service catalyst and f l u r p.

It's been a pleasure to mod with you Cat and Flurp. The two of you did what ever it took to make the Dallas community here at Realgm stronger and It's going to take some getting use to not see your names at the top of the board. I hope the two of you post as often as you can. Cheers!

It's been a blast. RealGM is by far the best NBA board around and it's been an honor to be a mod here.

I love the regulars on the Mavs forum. You guys are awesome. My stretch here was loads of fun and I look forward to seeing you all around on a regular basis.

Cmavs, you're gonna do great! Thanks for picking up the lead!

I appreciate all of the kind words.

It has been a lot of fun moderating. Real life has been making it harder to be on the board as often as I wanted. I will still be around, but not nearly to the degree that I have in the past. Family and real life are taking up much more of my real time, and it was just time to pass things on. Thanks for all of the challenges, help, and postings. you guys have been great, and Go Teh Mavs

I wish you guys nothing but the best, and you were terrific for the Mavericks board during your tenure.

Dash was the first mod. Ddan was second, and then Pep and me. I think that is right. Time to be put out to pasture so cmavs can rule with an iron fist
