Great game thread to start the year lol

Wizards might be a 20 win team, so there’s no reason for Dallas to fall here. Any word on Powell?

Lmao Dirk, i bet you waited months for this haha.

But officially a new era begins on Oct. 23rd. Let's hope it will be a successful decade, or even longer. :)

Has the starting lineup been confirmed? I'd think Jackson earned his way into the SL as the 3

Luka, KP, Maxi, Wright and i wouldn't be shocked if 5th player is Lee.

You should be. Lee will likely be a DNP-CD player for the most part until a trade happens. Hardaway, Brunson, DFS, and Curry will likely split duties at the 5th spot

Not sure about THJ, he was too good from the bench. Could imagine Jackson starting, though i think DFS should have priority over him. Specially when multiple wing defenders will be needed.

I’m excited about the start of the season. Yes I’m very disappointed about not adding a couple starting quality veterans to this roster but maybe, just maybe a few of our spare players can take their game to a new level.

I expect Mavs to win a lot of games against Eastern Conference opponents but I don’t like their chances against the Western Conference teams. This game needs to be one in the win column.

Amped up for this! For the first time in years the team isn't trash and can only improve from where it's at right now. Let's go Mavs!

Yea, they should start the only shooter in the team.

After reviewing Washington's roster, woof. This really should be a win

We haven't gone 1-0 since 2015-16. The last time we made the playoffs

Best of luck fellas. Can’t wait to see how the Luka KP duo looks together when the wins matter. I’m expecting big things.

Kleber is one of my favorite role players. I think JJ will continue his strong shooting from how he finished last year. Wright / Brunson / Curry should be contributors.

Limit THJ unless he’s hot.

Yep it'll open up the floor for the streaky shooters

I think it'll be him or Jackson. He didn't get much burn in the preseason but it's not like he needed to, coach knows exactly what he's getting from Seth.

I think Lee will get the nod for the starting lineup.

I imagine we will run the bench deep and see who gets hot and leave them out there.
