I have not and only read a few articles and podcasts that summarized the talking points of it. It seemed to concentrate mostly on the deflection of the failure of the 2020 draft and a rift he had with Donnie and other management. I'll check it out though since you've piqued my interest on it.

He's a brilliant coach, but it was time, even at the cost of downgrade, looks like the FO and coaching staff were a complete mess.

His time here was done.
Plus Luka doesn't like him.
Simply.

He is (was???) a good coach, after 2011 the FO never gave him a quality roster. He made some mistake but like all others coach.
I remember the PO experience with Calderon and OJ Mayo or Monta Ellis go to guy.
In those years made Luka + bunch of role players the best offense in the NBA... Obviously in the PO the story is different and we were too weak.

People reacting over Carlisle like Cuban fired him.

To set the story straight, Carlisle quit. He didnt get fired. His tenure it seems was attached to Donnie's tenure as GM. Cuban allowed him to get new employment despite having an active contract which he did not fullfill.

So clearly going separate ways was just the best option for both parties. Coaching isnt the main concern now IMO. Luka is already a head coach himself running the show. What you need is to elevate the quality of players around him. You need to go from Cleveland Lebron to Miami Lebron in terms of cast. How Cuban gets from Larry Hughes to Dwayne Wade is another story.

I think his handling of the Clippers series was brilliant, it took 7 games one of which Luka was injured, and heroic effort from Clippers stars to beat the Mavs

Cool. I think you'll enjoy it.

The interview is about 1 hr 5 min I think. The podcast host, Pablo Torres, breaks away for 20 seconds at a time here or there to provide context to the listener. The actual interview is probably rate at an interview. It felt like 15 minutes to me. I found it very interesting.

The 2020 draft is discussed for maybe 3 or 4 minutes. Donnie is discussed several times during the interview. Not all of them negative, but I think it's fair to say Haralobos doesn't think as much of Donnie as maybe he did before he started working for the Mavs full time.

I was someone that wanted Carlisle to stay because they weren’t going to find a better coach than Carlisle on the open market. But it was time for him to go. His style of coaching had run it’s course here in Dallas. He also wanted to go. His daughters are in college now so it was easier for him and his wife to move. The fact that it was Indiana that opened up made his decision that much easier. I think Cuban felt it was time to move on too but he wasn’t going to fire Carlisle, Carlisle had to want to leave. I don’t know if Kidd is the right man for the job but either way it was time for Carlisle to go.

According to this podcast (https://open.spotify.com/episode/3ystv6gjyBKSMxmsQBjv9n?si=7501c978f0df414f) Rich Carlisle wanted to stay, but he knew his time was up. He didn't want to go into the season on a hot seat and he knew he would get a payday from another team if he left now.
