How does our front court look to you now? AD and Dereck Lively are still your answer?

Both need to go sooner than later. Our front office must figure out the frontcourt and upgrade it until we have actual talent that will help us compete.

I guess every team in the league will need to change their C.

I imagine that teams will win against Spurs even when Wemby will score 40 points, not with their Pg having 0 assists though. ;)

It doesn't look to me that we have actual talent to compete, at least 91 offensive rtg doesn't suggest that.

Worst thing is that this team could and should play better. There is enough talent to play better than yesterday. Although fit is far from good.

But not enough to compete against the contending teams. So that means Dallas will be now a treadmill one, praying that Flagg becomes great and a team could be built around him once the vets vanish like tears in the rain... Along with Nico.
He may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot but don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot.

Exactly. Mavs were in Finals and then they upgraded their roster and then suddenly after momentum of insanity our only hope is we will play better against Wizards.

If Nico really believes in winning now, he should trade Flagg for now win players. Because he and Nico will be dead and buried in Dallas before Mavs will win something.

Unfortunately I think we're stuck with AD. No way Nico is going to move him for a ham sandwich; yet no one would give us equal value. Gawd he was terrible last night, but Wemby is going to do that to NBA elite. If there is a trade, IMO it'll be Lively for young PG talent. Again, I'm not defending it, just dealing with reality.

I thought the big lineup would do well, but that was idiotic. As Bob corrected me, it works for HOU because of Sengun. We don't have the personnel to make it work.

Making chicken salad out of chicken ****...
PG - Nemhard, DLo
SG - Max
6th - Klay
SF - Coop, Naji
PF - PJ, Coop
C - AD, Lively

Don't look for the Mavs to change up the lineup up against WAS. If we win, it'll be fools' gold.

...and Lonzo played the game that we needed. DLo was an awful pickup. Any trades happen and he's out the door.

Dlo and his 2-year contract has negative value for sure. Nobody needs players like him. I believe the most likely candidates to be traded are Gafford and Naji.

To add insult to injury, Lonzo also signed a two year deal, exception being the second year is a team option. Nico, for all his talent lol gave DLo a player option.

When can Gaff be traded? I know he was extended.

I'd hate to lose Naji, especially backing up Coop. IMO, I think Lively is going to be moved.

I believe he can be traded without any restrictions. Immediately.

Lively is making only 5 mio, he can't be moved alone. Nobody is trading cheap player on rookie contract anyway.

That happens all the time. Look at how Dyson got to ATL.

But there's a limit of games played.

Nembhard, B-Wll or even D-Lo i don't care, put a PG on the starting lineup!!! Damn Kidd!!!

That experiment is a failure from the start and (almost) everybody knew it.

Tell me, who you want for 5 mio for Lively?

Not just Lively. Other bodies would move. Again, look at the Murray trade to NOP.

Who else will be in the package and who we want? I guess Gafford won't be, because Mavs won't trade both C, you don't want to trade Naji. Who else is really available and have substantial contract? I doubt very much you want to attach few first round picks to get rid of Lively.

Huh? You want me to propose all the details of the trade? I'll pass.
